Sr. Industrial Designer

We’re looking for a Sr. Industrial Designer to join our product development team in Vienna, someone willing to take risks, fail, learn and, as the team grows, lead with us.

What will you be responsible for?

You will be working in a casual start-up-like environment on a wide range of products. We work on innovation projects for start-ups and established companies but you should also expect to work on internal projects, participate in proposing ideas, their discussion and development.

You will lead projects from initial client meetings all the way to manufacturing. On your daily activities you’ll have to interface with clients, vendors and work collaboratively with other colleagues.

You will need to asses and clarify stakeholders needs/desires, define project proposals, quotations, and lead the project. For this, you should expect to do budgeting/planning, lead meetings, do research, sketching, 3d modelling, rendering, prepare any necessary documentation, present, and make it clear to the client how our work helps to reach their goals and objectives.

You’ll need to adapt to any changes in the project’s context and are expected to respond with a creative and constructive attitude to support the clients.

You are expected to question the status-quo, tools and methods and be proactive in proposing improvements. You are also expected to provide constructive feedback to any colleagues, be willing to take responsibility, leave your comfort zone and go beyond the standard scope of work.

We hope you join our family for a long run and keep a continuous self improvement mindset. We’ll help you grow and hope you help others with a humble attitude.

The position is full time and begins immediately. The role includes salary + benefits and will report directly to the Managing Design Director.
